Unreal Engine powers some of the most visually ambitious games on the market, which is exactly why porting one well is never a trivial exercise. Between custom engine forks, the demands of Nanite and Lumen on hardware they weren’t originally built for, and each console’s own certification requirements, an Unreal port touches nearly every system in the game: code, rendering, input, and packaging alike.

C++ & BLUEPRINT CODE PORTING

We rebuild your codebase against the target platform’s native SDK, keeping your C++ and Blueprint logic intact while re-wiring the plumbing underneath: Input, Rendering, Audio, and Online Subsystem modules, plus every custom engine fork or in-house plugin that Epic never shipped platform support for.

When a project has strayed far from stock Unreal (modified engine source, bespoke subsystems, low-level platform hooks) that’s where the real work happens. We go through it module by module, not just until it compiles, but until it belongs on that platform.

NANITE, LUMEN & SHADER RE-TARGETING

Unreal’s newest rendering features weren’t built with every platform’s hardware in mind, and that’s precisely the problem we solve. We re-target your Material Graphs and custom HLSL shaders for the target GPU, and when Nanite, Lumen, or Virtual Shadow Maps can’t run at full fidelity, we rebuild the equivalent visual result through traditional LODs, baked lighting, and shadow techniques, so the game still looks like your game.

We also rework your cooking and packaging pipeline through Unreal Automation Tool to produce lean, platform-optimized asset builds, because load times and memory footprint are part of the player’s experience too.

RHI & PERFORMANCE TUNING

Compiling against a platform’s RHI (Rendering Hardware Interface) is only the starting point. We dig into Unreal Insights, GPU Visualizer, and Stat commands to trace every bottleneck through the render thread and game thread alike, then tune scalability settings, LODs, and streaming pools until the game hits its target framerate, not close to it, at it.

This is where platform-specific RHI work pays off: implementations tuned to each console’s memory bandwidth and shader compiler quirks, at a level of detail that shows up directly in the framerate graph.

PLATFORM SDK INTEGRATION & CERTIFICATION

Console certification is unforgiving, and first-time rejections cost studios real time and money. Unreal Engine ships with platform extensions for major consoles, but wiring in the platform SDK correctly (project settings, plugin configuration, platform-specific packaging) still takes real hands-on expertise to pass cleanly.

With dozens of shipped titles and hands-on experience with every major console manufacturer, we build compliance in from day one and submit ready, no last-minute scrambles, no missed deadlines.

ENHANCED INPUT & UI REDESIGN

Swapping Keyboard+Mouse for a Controller isn’t a remap, it’s a redesign, and we treat it like one. We rework your Enhanced Input mappings and UMG UI screens from the layout up, so menus, prompts, and navigation feel native to a gamepad, not translated for it.

Every piece of input logic in Blueprint and C++ gets the same level of care, so the converted version doesn’t just work on the new platform. It feels like it belongs there.
